Northwest of the city center, the multicultural district of Nørrebro is flourishing with pint-sized cafés, restaurants and shops. Meyers Bagerie (Jægersborggade 9; clausmeyer.dk) grinds its own flour for breads and pastries, including the Hindbærsnitter, a popular raspberry dessert. The magnanimous Coffee Collective (Jægersborggade 10; coffeecollective.dk) pays farmers at least 25 percent above the fair trade price, while casual resto-bar Manfreds & Vin (Jægersborggade 40; 45/3696-6593; manfreds.dk) focuses on biodynamic wines and pairs them with dishes like roasted pumpkin with watercress. Look for incredibly thin vases, bowls and cups at ceramics shop Keramiker Inge Vincents (Jægersborggade 27; vincents.dk), where owner Inge Vincents has an almost Japanese meets Danish modern aesthetic.
