Having made his mark in Florence and Capri, Italian cult hotelier Ori Kafri is finally bringing his wildly popular J.K. Place brand to the capital. When it opens in June, in a former school just around the corner from shopper’s paradise Via Condotti, J.K. Place Roma will have 30 rooms designed by Florentine architect Michele Bonana, a sculpture-filled lobby and a rooftop terrace where guests can watch movies on a giant screen in summer. La dolce vita returns, in more ways than one. Rooms start at $890; Via Monte d’Oro 30; jkroma.com.
