Le Sirenuse, Positano

Made to mark the family-run hotel’s 50th anniversary, Le Sirenuse’s custom fragrance, Eau d’Italie, plays on the connection between scent and memory. Developed with the help of Bertrand Duchaufour—who has designed fragrances for Comme des Garçons—the combination of black currant, bergamot and frankincense was inspired by co-owner Marina Sersale’s childhood memories of playing on the terracotta-tiled terrace overlooking the Amalfi Coast. Used in the hotel’s soaps, bath salts and body milks, Eau d’Italie is also available for purchase in the property’s two Emporio Sirenuse stores ($140).

Rooms start at $440; 30 Via Cristoforo Colombo; 39-089/875-066; sirenuse.it.
