Eat: Handle

Surprisingly, what is arguably Park City’s hippest restaurant, sits inside a strip mall. In 2014, the former chef from Talisker on Main, Briar Handly, opened his own place to focus on small plates and craft cocktails. The menu is divided into four sections: bites, cold, hot, and hearty. The Handle Fil-A (a fried chicken thigh with cippolini aioli on a brioche bun) might be more addictive than its fast-food inspiration. Charcuterie fans will enjoy options like pork terrine and duck liver mousse, but vegetarians can happily make a meal out of buffalo-style cauliflower, beet, persimmon, and chicory salad, and black garlic risotto. 136 Herber Ave.; 435-602-1155;
