Sherry B Dessert Studio is hosting an event celebrating 25 years of DEPARTURES.

This weekend in Chappaqua, New York, sweets genius Sherry Blockinger of Sherry B Dessert Studio hosts a book signing and Q&A event featuring DEPARTURES Editor in Chief Richard David Story. The intimate evening—the second in a new, quarterly series held by the confectioner to showcase the works of local artists and artisans—celebrates Story’s coffee table book, The World of Departures, released last fall by luxury publisher Assouline on the occasion of our 25th anniversary. With artworks from the magazine on display and a slew of Blockinger’s decadent desserts on hand (expect homemade ice cream, purple velvet cupcakes, a full cookie bar, and more), there’s no sweeter way to commemorate a quarter century of living the right life.
