Brooklyn: Casa Pública
Starting in early June, chef Bob Truitt (Altamarea Group, El Bulli) will serve up traditional Mexican home cooking at his new North Williamsburg joint. New York City: aRoqa
On June 7, restaurateur Gaurav Anand (Moti Mahal Delux) will bring his ambitious modern Indian cuisine to New York’s stylish Chelsea neighborhood. Inspired by Anand’s travels, the menu will include paratha “tacos” filled with tender goat and saffron aioli, and shrimp cakes with kaffir lime chutney. Half Moon Bay: Global Cuisine Series at The Ritz-Carlton
Guests at the California oceanfront resort’s summer series will partake in an epicurean retreat with exclusive culinary classes and tasting menus with renowned chefs from around the world. New York City: Chef's Tribute to Citymeals on Wheels
On June 12, food luminaries including Daniel Boulud, Jacques Torres, and Ana Sortun will converge at Rockefeller Center for Citymeals on Wheels’ 32nd annual party with a purpose. Last year’s event raised nearly $1 million for the anti-hunger organization. This year, expect culinary delights like basturma and kasseri cheese dumplings and rosé pate de fruit with lavender marshmallow. 45 Rockefeller Plaza; citymeals.org

Melbourne: Kuro Kisumé (The Table)
In May, influential Australian chef Chris Lucas (Chin Chin, Hawker Hall) opened an upscale Japanese spot, Kisumé. On June 15, he’ll add a sophisticated omakase spot upstairs from the original called Kuro Kisumé. Inside, a 12-seat private room called The Table will offer diners an intimate culinary experience led by chef K.S. Tokyo: Gaggan Pop-Up at the Mandarin Oriental
From June 15–17, the ultra luxe hotel will pair up with Bangkok’s Gaggan—currently ranked as the seventh best restaurant in the world—for an incomparable mash-up. New York City: Tetsu
Relaxation is the guiding word at Masa Takayama’s newest restaurant, where the casually elegant dining room is outfitted with unfinished white oak and glimmering metal. Chicago: BLVD
The vibe at this West Loop eatery will be 1950s Hollywood luxe, with Art Deco design elements and other glinted, retro details filling up the 10,000-square-foot space. The kitchen will be led by chef Ross Mendoza (Pump Room) and will feature American-inspired shared plates that are at once modern and nostalgic, like his take on “minute steak” and potatoes with chimichurri and charred scallions. London: Radio Alice Pizza
Brothers and pizzaiolos Matteo and Salvatore Aloe will open an outpost of their beloved pizza shop in the trendy Clapham neighborhood in mid-June. New York City: Eat (Red)
On June 20, star chefs including Mario Batali, Ina Garten, Jean-George Vongerichten, and Danny Bowien will gather for a night of food and film on the fashionable lawn at Bryant Park. On the screen: Sleepless in Seattle. On the menu: a curated selection of New York-inspired picnic dishes and summery cocktails. 100 percent of ticket sales will go towards AIDS research. Brooklyn: Franks' Backyard Chef Series
Beloved Italian restaurant Frankies 457 Spuntino is teaming up with reservation app Resy to host monthly food fetes in Frankies’ lush backyard garden. The series will welcome some of the country's best chefs for one-of-a-kind culinary collaborations. East Hampton: EMP Summer House
The masterminds behind three-Michelin-starred restaurant Eleven Madison Park are closing up shop in New York City this summer for a major facelift. Meanwhile, they are headed to the beach, opening a one-of-a-kind pop-up in East Hampton. Located in a massive farmhouse, the decor will be breezy, and the menu—wood-fired corn with bonito butter, crispy zucchini with yogurt, bucatini with garlicky clams—hyper-local. Los Angeles: The Mighty
L.A. culinary power couple Karen and Quinn Hatfield (Sycamore Kitchen, Odys + Penelope) are opening a farmers’ market-inspired urban eatery in the historic downtown Higgins Building in late June. An in-house rotisserie will turn out chicken and porchetta, and the menu will be rounded out by locally sourced salads, grilled focaccia tartines, and Karen’s signature chocolate Nutella and coconut custard layer cakes. 108 W. 2nd Street #105; themightydtla.com

New York City: Air’s Champagne Parlor
In late June, sommelier Ariel Arce (Riddling Widow, Birds & Bubbles) is opening a champagne-focused spot. The space’s glamorous allure will be evident in the marble-topped bar, deep green and plum color scheme, and plush curtains. Offering bubbly by the glass and bottle, and featuring both accessible and rare champagne selections and a menu of oysters mignonette, caviar with potato chips, and goat cheese and honey gougères, the bar will have a fabulous dinner party vibe. 127 MacDougal Street; airschampagneparlor.com
