THIRDHOME, a premier travel club for second homeowners, just launched their members-only THIRDHOME Reserve program. The under-the-radar membership is by invitation only and gives you access to some of the world’s most lavish homes. While THIRDHOME Exchange has properties valued around $2.4 million, houses in the Reserve portfolio are worth upwards of $5 million.
“Over the last nine years, we have been contacted by a large number of owners of super high-end homes who bought into the idea and ethos of THIRDHOME, but found that their properties were just at a different level,” said Giles Adams, president of THIRDHOME Europe, in a statement. “These potential members were generally too polite to say as such, but it became clear that there was a real need to offer something special that catered specifically to these types of properties and their owners.”
So, what types of homes are available? You can book a fully-staffed, four-bedroom villa in Kenya perched on a cliff above the sands of Diani Beach with sweeping views of the Indian Ocean. There’s also an expertly-decorated nine-bedroom home located in Mykonos, Greece, with outdoor space that overlooks the Aegean Sea. And the Cotswolds manor available to members is located on the gated grounds of Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill.
Along with incredible properties, the company goes out of its way to make the booking process hassle-free. The Reserve portfolio is hosted on a password-protected site, and a member of the Reserve team handles all reservations. Plus, members have access to a full concierge service to organize additional excursions, experiences, and services during their stay.
