You Can Now Take a Private Train from Budapest to Prague

The Golden Eagle Danube Express starts in Budapest, Hungary and ends at a five-star hotel in Prague. Along the journey you'll stop in Bratislava, Slovakia's capital, to check out the Bratislava Castle, walk around Vienna, visit Europe's largest remaining medieval town square in Krakow, and tour four UNESCO World Heritage Sites. There are options along the way to take a boat ride on Lake Balaton, enjoy a concert at the Lichtenstein Palace, visit the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz, and explore Prague's historic Jewish Quarter.

While onboard, you'll get treated to classic service and plush accommodations. Each car on the train has dedicated attendants who provide turndown service and make sure your room is stocked with the necessities. Opt for the Superior Deluxe Class, and you'll be treated to a king bed, wifi access, a full-length sofa, air conditioning, ensuite bathroom, and two picture windows to watch the world pass by. Elsewhere, there's a bar and lounge car as well as a dining car. Each trip will have a different formation of cars depending on the number of passengers.
