Day 1: Chomtawan Bar and Sri Trang Restaurant
Make the most of your first afternoon by pre-booking a speedboat to Hong Island; after a 30-minute cruise through azure waters past towering karst peaks, pull up to an empty beach, where your guide will arrange an elegant Thai lunch. Lemongrass-shrimp salad and coconut water straight from the shell will ruin you for all other beach picnics.
Return to the hotel for sundown drinks at the Chomtawan Bar, and then stroll over to Thai restaurant Sri Trang for a feast of Krabi specialties, from standout curries to rice dishes found only in this part of Thailand. (Couples staying in villas with bathing pavilions: your butler will only be too happy to draw you a post-dinner bath; they've got a way with bubbles, candles, and flower petals.)
