With islands like Bora Bora and Tahiti, French Polynesia is a hot spot for luxury hotels. Travelers are willing to splash some cash to enjoy the crystal blue waters and private retreats. But, one resort is upping the ante when it comes to defining high-end. The Brando, a luxury retreat located on the far-flung private island of Tetiaroa, just debuted its new Brando Residences that will start at $17,000 a night.

We know it might be hard to imagine what you could possibly get for such a high price tag. But the property promises to deliver. The luxurious three-bedroom home spans 3,000 square feet of interior space and is nestled on a 1.25-acre plot of land fronted by a private white sand beach. Designed for optimal indoor/outdoor living, the residence also includes a private swimming pool and large terrace, as well as Polynesian style interiors with spectacular views of the lagoon. Of course, all of this is situated in one of the most beautiful and protected locations in the world.

As far as amenities go, guests of the Brando Residence enjoy the same access as hotel guests including multiple restaurants, water sports, a Polynesian spa, lagoon, and bear-view bar, gym, library, boutique, and the resort's Ecostation. Dedicated staff, including chefs and butlers are also available upon request. And the property promise to do good for the environment too.

"Each of the Brando Residences will feature five-star services and amenities powered by the same zero carbon emission technology which has established The Brando as a pillar of sustainable hospitality," said Richard Bailey. "The residences will be strategically located on the resort's primary motu of Onetahi, allowing us to provide new accommodations for guests while preserving the biodiversity of Tetiaroa."

While just one residence is available now, three additional ones will be constructed over the next four years on The Brando's primary motu (islets) of Onetahi, one of 12 motu ringing the Tetiaroa atoll.

All-inclusive rates for the Brando Residence start from €15,000 ($16,817) per night for up to six guests. The accommodation can also accommodate a maximum of two additional children ages 12-17 for €480 ($530) per day, for a total of eight guests.
