We’ve talked at length about the renovation of the iconic Surf Club in Surfside, Florida, just outside of Miami, now a Four Seasons property, but let’s take a minute to give the 15,000-square-foot spa and wellness center some much-deserved attention. Designed by Parisian interior architect Joseph Dirand, the space is an ode to light and air, with white marble and touches of blue azulejo tiles to match the water outside its windows. Before heading to one of six ocean-view treatment rooms, be sure to unwind in the tea lounge and relaxation room offering up hibiscus tea and tasty snacks like lavender mini-marshmallows.
Treatments range from Ayurveda, traditional Chinese Medicine, and body scrubs, and feature products from Elemental Herbology and Biologique Recherche, but our favorites are the Susanne Kaufmann deep cleansing and anti-aging facials. While the Austrian brand’s products have long been available in the United States, this marks Kaufmann’s first foray into curating treatments in the country.

Originating at her spa in the Hotel Post Bezau in the Bregenzerwald Forest, she quickly gained international acclaim for her skincare products, and we’re thrilled they’ve taken the next step stateside. The 90-minute advanced anti-aging treatment is particularly complex and works to repair skin, reduce hyperpigmentation, refine complexion, and most of all rejuvenate the skin.
