A Makeover at the Parker Palm Springs

The SoCal staple reveals a renovation from Jonathan Adler later this month, and we got a sneak peek.

After visiting my family in Southern California in mid December to celebrate an early Christmas, I made a stop at the Parker Palm Springs to get a look at the hotel’s recent renovations—an update from Jonathan Adler on his own design from 2004. Though not everything was ready during my visit (the revamp officially debuts later this month with the opening of their wine bar, Counter Reformation, and pieces of the spa will remain under construction until March), we got to experience most of the storied hotel’s newest highlights, inside and out. Now that I’m back in frigid New York with a long winter ahead, I’m already pining for a return to this funky, fun, and fabulous oasis—a truly perfect escape that’s only going to get better as the year unfolds. Click through the slideshow to see what’s new and improved at the Parker Palm Springs.
