Private islands are typically reserved for people like Richard Branson. But Raffles Maldives Meradhoo, an American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts property, is allowing lucky guests to live like a billionaire on your next vacation by offering a four-night buy-out of the property.

The one-of-a-kind getaway, called “You Run Raffles Maldives,” gives you total access to the 21-villa resort located on the pristine Gaafu Alifu Atoll. That means you and up to 69 of your friends will get a personal Raffles Marine Butler for private sea excursions including snorkeling excursions to the resort’s two vibrant house reefs, pampering at the spa, and unlimited use of the resort’s yacht Azimut for dolphin watching cruises, fishing or diving expeditions.

Personalized gifts, including custom robe and epicurean treats, are included as well as a butler to tend to your every need. As far as the dining goes, you’ll get menus crafted by the Raffles Maldives culinary team, and meals will be served whenever you desire.

But why have just one private island when you can have two? Raffles will also let you use another deserted island that can be transformed into an epic celebration or adventure space. You could have the team plan a romantic evening filled with champagne and a stargazing session guided by a personal astronomer. Or, Raffles will set up a thrilling sunset concert with a celebrity DJ. All of this in the middle of the Indian Ocean.

The cost of such an epic vacation? It will set you back a whopping $1 million. But, that’s pretty good considering owning and maintaining a private island would cost a lot more. Plus, you can feel good about your purchase as the package includes a 5% charitable donation split between the Maldives’ Marine Center and the Olive Ridley Project, an NGO that works to protect sea turtles.
