The owners, Michael and Claudia Paravicini, are Swiss and have spared no expense. The hotel building houses the restaurant and six junior suites, while the hacienda includes the Paravicinis’ residence as well as three double rooms. Villa suites and the Ruca Suite (pictured) are separate from the hotel and the hacienda. Throughout the property, the smallest details have not been overlooked, with electrical sockets and bathroom fixtures imported from Switzerland to add a space-age modernity to a rustic interior design. Vira Vira also has an on-site farm that produces most of the hotel’s food.
