One of the best parts about traveling is getting to experience some of the most stunning hotels in the world. Luxury properties will go out of their way to provide high design, plush amenities, and top-notch service. And with every stay, you can temporarily live in a beautiful aesthetic that's different from home. But, understandably, those details are usually adult-focused. Although some hotels decided to go above and beyond for their younger guests. How? They created rooms and suites that make various kid dreams come true (think favorite characters and lots of toys) while maintaining adult-worthy luxuries. Here are some of the most luxe rooms for kids.

Kensington Kelly Suite at the Mission Inn

Make any youngster feel like royalty in the Kensington Kelly Suite at the Mission Inn in Riverside, California. The room is outfitted to feel like a European castle with gold detailing and a large crown mounted above the bed. Of course, it's quite playful as well, with pink splashed all over and striped and polka-dotted accents. There's also a full sitting area with a tea set, fireplace, and French doors lead to a private patio. It's truly a fairytale.

Cinderella's Gown Cottage at The Roxbury at Stratton Falls

The Roxbury at Stratton Falls in the Catskill Mountains, New York, is known for its over-the-top themed rooms ranging from a 1960s suite to a spacious room. But youngsters will love Cinderella's Gown Tower Cottage. Why? Well, you are greeted by an 18-foot ball gown (that acts as a bedroom canopy) when you enter the room, and there's an enormous pumpkin morphing into a golden-carriage style bathroom. There's The Superhero Incognito cottage inspired by Roy Lichtenstein's iconic pop-art featuring a Super Woman headboard for superhero fans.

Eloise Suite at The Plaza

No fan of classic book character Eloise should miss an opportunity to stay in the Eloise Suite at The Plaza. With outrageous and fun décor by celebrated designer Betsey Johnson, the suite is resplendent with an Eloise-approved palette of pink and black. It includes a King-size bed with custom Eloise-themed bedding. The room at the American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts property is also equipped with a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, Eloise and Weenie dolls, Eloise robes and towels, and an Eloise gift set upon arrival.

Family Suite at Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa

Although the eight family suites at Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa in Grand Cayman are meant for the whole clan, the living room is all about the kids. It features two bunk beds with built-in shelving featuring a rotating collection of books for tots to enjoy during their stay. It's even become somewhat of a tradition for guests to leave books behind for the next family. You can also request the Glamping Package, a posh glamping tent, plush toys, books, and a fluffy blanket.

Kids Suite at Swissotel Chicago

It's all about being a VIK (very important kid) at Swissotel Chicago. The Kids Suite is part of a two-room suite (there's a room for adults and one for kids) featuring toys, books, and age-appropriate games for the little guests. Plus, little ones get a complimentary in-room movie, a movie theater-esque treat, and a complimentary breakfast for two adults and up to two children at The Palm.

Toy Maker's Tent at Capella Ubud

Bali is already a magical place for kids, but Capella Ubud, Bali, wanted to make it even more special by offering unique accommodation for little guests. The Toy Maker's tent was made from trees and features a toy collection from the colonial era. There's a drum, chess set, a cup and ball toy, wooden building blocks, and a Bilbo catcher. Kids also get special amenities like a kimono, a duffel bag with fun camping essentials, and art classes and treasure hunt activities.

Animal Themed Suites at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok

Taking inspiration from the fictional characters of Thailand's animal kingdom, the American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts property Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok created seven themed suites including Kingo the Monkey, Katty the Tiger, Kao Kao the Panda, Kquincy the Hare, Ko-Ko the singing Bird, Kitsu the Fox, and Kaja the Elephant. Inside each suite, there are themed toys and activities, including video and board games, a drawing kit, and plush animal toys. The rooms are also outfitted with things like a lookout tower, and the walls are covered in animal kingdom art created by Thai artist Suthipa Kamyam.

Camp Peninsula at The Peninsula Beverly Hills

At The Peninsula Beverly Hills, any suite can become kid-approved. Camp Peninsula is an experience that can be added to any room reservation at the American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts property and starts with a personalized greeting from the hotel's mascot Peter Bear. From there, kids get to take pictures with the life-sized teddy bear before being whiskers away by a Peninsula Camp Counselor to the guestroom that's outfitted with a teepee and flameless s'more set up. The experience extends beyond the room with camp-themed games and activities, like a hotel-wide scavenger hunt.

The Pineapple Villa at Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana

Forget a decked-out room. The Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts in the Dominican Republic has an entire kid-focused house: the Pineapple Villa. It looks just like SpongeBob's pineapple home in Bikini Bottom. Inside the unique space, there's whimsical decor like oversized fishing hooks, a "floating" chair, and porthole windows. Kids (and parents) will also love the private garden, patio, infinity pool, and private butlers.
