Fashion week is a time to be inspired. That’s why five-star hotel Le Bristol Paris, an American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts property, used the recent Paris Fashion Week as an opportunity to highlight the most unusual suite in Paris. And while the runway shows ended on October 1, the stunning accommodations are still available to immerse yourself in the ultimate creative space. So, what exactly did the hotel do?

They took the renowned Le Suite Paris and completely transformed into a live-in art gallery complete with vibrant colors and interesting interiors. Inspired by Disney’s Mickey and Minnie Mouse’s adventures in an art museum, gallery kamel mennour overhauled the sprawling hotel room utilizing the work of famous pop artist Bertrand Lavier. The walls were painted bright yellow and green, purple carpet was installed, large whimsical prints were scattered throughout, and handpicked bold furniture enhanced the elegantly cartoonish vibe and transports guests to a Disney dimension.

Described as a “thought bubble” from Lavier’s mind, “cartoon characters jump off the page into sculptures” that also decorate the space. This redesign is in stark contrast to the property’s classic Louis XIV design making it even more of a standout suite.

“We invite our guests for a surreal night’s sleep in our Paris Suite, heisted by radical pop artist Bertand Lavier and transformed into an ephemeral ‘live-in’ exhibit,” Leah Marshall, Hotel Manager, told Departures. “In close collaboration with the gallery kamel mennour, this work of art offers breathtaking views of the City of Light and the Eiffel Tower from its wraparound wrought-iron balcony. A splendid total surface area of 2,110 square feet which challenges the Hotel’s history with art and classism, with a modern, technicolor décor.”

To celebrate this unique collaboration, Le Bristol Paris created the Art at Le Bristol Package. Included are two nights in the Suite Paris by Bertrand Lavier, a tasting in the private wine cellar, dinner with the artist at the three Michelin star Epicure upon availability, breakfast, round-trip transfers, and a private tour of the exhibition at the gallery kamel mennour.

While overnights start at $12,000 per night, guests can also get a hint of whimsy in the suite as large scale sculptures from Lavier’s Walt Disney Productions series are perched in Le Bristol Paris gardens. The suite is available to book until this December.
