Le Royal Monceau Paris: Raffles Presidential Suite
Located via a separate entrance, the Presidential suites at Le Royal Monceau offer guests their own apartment in Paris. The building offers five floors of suites, but the crème-de-la-crème is the Raffles Presidential Suite, which takes up the entire third floor and blends Parisian elegance—think parquet floors and wall sconces—with contemporary flair courtesy of designer Philippe Starck. Mirrored tables dot the space and the bedrooms feature oversized upholstered headboard beds framed in silver. The three-bedroom apartment also offers a modern stainless steel kitchen, and a butler service can be arranged. In the large bathroom with a clawfoot bathtub, guests will find Clarins skincare; but if you still need more pampering, just head down to the hotel’s award winning Spa MyBlend By Clarins where you’ll find a pool, sauna and fitness center. $25,000 per night; 33-1/42-99-88-00.

Four Seasons George V: The Penthouse Apartment
Since a renovation in 2012, the elegant Four Seasons George V has set the gold standard in Parisian “Palace” hotels and the hotel’s 8th floor Penthouse Apartment is one of the finest in the city. The Pierre Yves Rochon-designed suite includes the utmost in luxury—Baccarat crystal and a plasma screen TV concealed by a black mirror—plus personal touches like a bookcase filled with antique books that make the place feel like your own pied-a-terre in Paris. Rochon’s choice of a soothing pastel and gold color palette and natural materials like travertine and sycamore create a calm and serene atmosphere. The light and airy suite features several terraces—a main terrace shaped like the bow of a ship with manicured box trees and a smaller terrace off the master bedroom with a four-poster daybed. Behind a wrought iron door lies an indoor sanctuary known as a winter garden, with a marble mosaic floor and floral fabric walls where you can feel like you’re dining alfresco without leaving the cozy confines of the apartment. $22,500 per night; 33-1/49-52-70-00.

Hôtel Plaza Athénée: The Royal Suite
A favorite of princes and politicians, the largest four-bedroom suite in Paris occupies nearly the entire fifth floor of Dorchester Collection’s Plaza Athénée and has a private entrance with armored doors for added security. Long-time Plaza Athénee interior designer Marie-José Pommereau chose an eclectic mix of furnishings and materials during a renovation of the Royal Suite in 2012 to make it feel more like a Parisian apartment then a hotel room. Rooms sport Louis XV–style furnishings, vintage mirrors found at a flea market and jewel-toned colors—one bedroom features apricot drapes and orange velvet upholstery while a salon has gold embroidered couches and raspberry pillows. Just steps from the Plaza’s front door lie boutiques like Dior, Celine and Prada. After a day of shopping dine at the hotel’s Le Relais Plaza brasserie for pan seared foie gras and crystal gold caviar. $31,930 per night; 33-1/53-67-66-67.

The white and lavender bedroom where Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams filmed many of their scenes looks virtually unchanged but, thanks to renovations completed in 2014, the suite now has a large walk-in closet and a bathroom in head-to-toe white Carrera marble from Italy. The blue and gold salon has 18th-century furniture, antique mirrors, and paintings from the hotel owner’s personal collection. Le Meurice: The Belle Etoile Royal Suite
For 180 years, Dorchester Collection’s Le Meurice has hosted kings, queens, artists and celebrities like Beyonce and Jay-Z. It’s only fitting that the hotel's most spectacular suite is one-of-a-kind.
