Sometimes one luxurious suite just doesn't cut it. That's especially true when traveling with family, which is why Monaco’s Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo, an American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts Property, just started allowing guests to book the entire top floor for a "home away from home" fit for royalty.

Spanning approximately 4,300 square feet, the top-floor collection includes seven stunning suites, each with its own unique atmosphere designed by iconic French designer Jacques Garcia. Guests get three Prestige Suites with large entrance halls that open to a living room and a terrace with sun loungers. French-style doors lead into an equally large bedrooms with walk-in wardrobes. The two Prestige Junior Suites boast terraces overlooking the mountains of the Monaco countryside and feature contemporary décor colored in gold and chocolate. And the De Luxe Suite has a personal study and includes a dressing room for event preparation or privacy from the rest of the group.

But the highlight has to be the Carré d'Or Suite. This incredible penthouse was fully refreshed in late 2019 and features an outdoor terrace with 180-degree views of Monte-Carlo and the Mediterranean.

"This suite is aptly named because it is the most beautiful in Monaco, offering an enchanting view of the Mediterranean and the Casino," said Jacques Garcia in a statement. "In architectural terms, it is a legend in the Principality that continues to make us dream of a certain exoticism, as majestic as ever. Everything in this suite reflects luxury. It needed to be endowed with more, not ostentatiously, but through touches of elegance, comfort, culture, and refinement."

Not only do you get access to all of the top suites in the hotel, but the stay is also combined with services such as private check-in within the suite, a butler, unpacking and repacking services, a pillow menu, and helicopter transfers.

The cost of living like royalty? You'll pay around $55,500 per night for the top-floor buyout.
