We all know the story: a rich man named Edward Lewis on business in L.A. fell in love with a prostitute, Vivian Ward. Yes, the 1990 film Pretty Woman, starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts, captured the hearts of audiences, and next year will mark the 30th anniversary of the unlikely romance tale. To celebrate, the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire, an American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts property, is launching the ultimate themed experience. After all, it’s where the love story took place.
Set to launch Jan 1, 2020, The Feeling Pretty package includes several experiences reminiscent of those in the film. You’ll get same-day travel to and from San Francisco via NetJets to attend the Opera as Edward and Vivian did in the flick.
And remember how the pair enjoyed some fancy meals? Well, you too will get to dine at two Michelin-starred restaurants, Urasawa and CUT. It’s there at the onsite eatery where Wolfgang Puck will personally greet you.
No one can forget the famous shopping trip Vivian made on Rodeo Drive. That pampering is included too. A private styling and jewelry session are included along with a $50,000 shopping experience at each of the high end retailers.
Though the suite where Gere and Roberts filmed was not actually at the hotel, you will spend three nights in one of the Specialty Suites that Edward would certainly approve of. Of course, private transfer in Rolls Royce is included throughout the stay.
To top it off, the hotel will set up an outdoor, rooftop cinema experience on the terrace where you can watch Pretty Woman while enjoying champagne and caviar as your personal butler is always nearby to assist.
Ready to be swept off your feet like Vivian? It will cost you. The package goes for $300,000. But can you really put a price tag on true love?
