Catamaran Meltemi Sets Sail in the Andaman Islands
Sail between Thailand and India’s remote and exotic Andaman Islands aboard the new SY Meltemi. The maiden voyage departs from Ranong, Thailand, February 11 on an itinerary curated by Red Savannah. The 51-foot catamaran has four double, ensuite cabins, all with king sized beds; the Owner’s Suite boasts a sitting area and larger bathroom. A spacious deck has nets in the bow for lounging and the ship is equipped with kayaks, fishing rods, and snorkelling gear. A staff of three to four handles everything from cooking al fresco dinners to organizing daily explorations of local markets and fishing villages, canoe adventures through the mangrove forests on Havelock Island, and picnics on deserted beaches.
