It's every kid's dream to spend the night in a toy store. Well, now that dream can become a reality thanks to one New York City hotel turning one of its rooms into an FAO Schwarz-themed suite.

Starting November 18, the Conrad New York Midtown will welcome guests to stay in the exclusive new FAO Schwarz Holiday Suite. This is the first time a hotel has ever offered a suite with the nostalgic and experiential toy brand, something bound to delight children and adults alike. "We've always wanted to do something like this with a hotel," said David Niggli, Chief Merchandising Officer, FAO Schwarz. "To imagine the joy and wonder that will captivate guests from the minute they open the door, it's magical."

The 1,800-square-foot suite will be stocked with FAO Schwarz's holiday favorites for the season, including train sets, dance on piano and DJ turntables, ride-on horses, eight to 10-foot tall stuffed animals, including Giraffes, Unicorns and Orangutans, a holiday-themed library, musical instruments, larger-than-life nutcrackers, and more. There are even a toddler-sized baby grand piano, vintage toys, and rubber ducks for bath time. Of course, the signature plush mascots—Patrick and Penelope—will be on site along with a welcome basket filled with FAO Schweetz goodies.

Everything in the suite is shoppable and can be purchased directly through the hotel to be shipped to their home. And suite guests also get a private shopping spree and tour of the nearby store with an FAO Schwarz toy soldier before the store opening.

"Our suites have an inherently residential feel, and we wanted to create a space where families can really feel at home for the holidays," said Robert Rechtermann, Conrad New York Midtown General Manager. "Teaming up with such an iconic, experiential brand like FAO Schwarz to bring this to life was an easy decision."

In addition, Conrad New York Midtown will offer all guests in all the suites the opportunity to order gifts on demand. An in-room toy menu serves up gifts from dolls to drones, delivered to the guest suite, or directly to their home.

The FAO Schwarz Holiday Suite is available November 18 until January 5.
