When putting together their room service programs, five-star hotels want to provide stand-out experiences for their guests. You no longer have to leave property to dine in a three Michelin-starred restaurant. In fact, you don’t even have to leave your room. Some foodie-travelers seek out hotels specifically because of their impossible-to-get-a-reservation omakase restaurants. At these nine luxury hotels, it’s the room service experience that will make you want to book immediately. From the tasting menus you can enjoy without changing out of your robe and slippers, to the Fireside Butler who will bring your favorite s’mores accoutrements, these are some of the most over-the-top room service experiences.

The former is a guests’ choice situation. Think: personalized cookout, all done by a personal chef preparing your favorite meats and seafood on the grill—alongside a bottle of wine or bucket of beers if you so choose. Their room service Moo Kra Ta barbecue is an in-room take on Thai street food, with marinated shrimp, grilled beef, pork, and chicken, and a traditional soup filled with fresh vegetables.
