Hamilton Princess, an American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts property in Bermuda, has been a luxurious staple on the island for years. In fact, 2020 marks its 135th anniversary, and the hotel decided to celebrate by offering a super-luxe package for guests that starts with a private jet.
Available to book now for stays beginning January 1, 2020, the over-the-top package for two includes roundtrip private jet flights courtesy of XO, two nights in the "Pink Palace's" lavish Penthouse Suite, and dinner on a private yacht with vintage wine pairings. But the highlight has to be the five never-before-offered experiences with renowned entrepreneurs and brands.
Yes, the package includes a jam-packed schedule of meetings with local business leaders that no other guests have gotten in the past plus some incredible custom souvenirs. You'll get a two-hour live sketching with fashion illustrator Holly Nichols, a first look at Current Vehicles newest vehicle (followed by one being shipped home), perfume class with Lili Bermuda, customized The Authentic Bermuda Shorts (TABS) with company Founder & CEO Rebecca Singleton, and a four-course champagne picnic on a private island courtesy of Eettafel. A photographer will be on hand to snap pics along the way.
"We couldn't resist the opportunity to share the anniversary with our loyal guests and honor our Bermudian community with a package to commemorate the milestone," Tim Morrison, General Manager of Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, told Departures. "We deliberated at length about how to make the anniversary package special and agreed that featuring local brand experiences was the only way to go. We are fortunate that luxury experiences are abundant on the island, so our goal was to reach beyond that—to offer exclusive access to off-the-menu encounters that did not previously exist and could not be replicated."
The cost of being treated like royalty for a couple of days? The starting rate is $135,000 for two. Of course, additional upgrades are possible upon request.
