Hotel and leisure brand Belmond unveil a new series of guest experiences titled “The Art of Gastronomy,” highlighting travel, art, and food combinations that yield bespoke travel experiences, specifically tailored to travelers’ visions—curated menu included, of course. Belmond’s vision is to provide authentic culinary experiences, taking guests “closer to the land.”
From a luxury breakfast among majestic elephants in the wilderness of Botswana, to floating down the cool rivers of Champagne aboard a picturesque riverboat, to experiencing historic tequila rituals on a Mayan beach—and enjoying Michelin-star dining along the way—Belmond’s experiences go above and beyond the ordinary vacation.
Take, for example, the “Adventure in Good Taste,” which takes travelers through Southeast Asia, exploring the crème de la crème of the land’s traditional cuisine and culture. For a cool $14,499 (flights, accommodations, and food included), Belmond takes guests on a 14-day culinary tour of Asia, with seven days spent at up to two luxury boutique hotels from the company’s portfolio in Southeast Asia, followed by a seven-night river journey aboard the luxurious Belmond Road to Mandalay, or seven-night train trip through Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore, on the Eastern & Oriental Express.
With an emphasis on option, tradition, and cultural authenticity, this sparkly new series is quite clearly and carefully designed for those looking to satisfy their desire to explore, while elevating their sense of culinary adventure.
