So long, "Living Coral." As we bid farewell to 2019, Pantone announce the color that will take us into a new decade. Meet the Color of the Year for 2020: Classic Blue.
Each year the color experts pick a shade capturing our cultural imagination right now. “The Pantone Color of the Year highlights the relationship between trends in color and what is taking place in our global culture at a moment in time, a color that reflects what individuals feel they need that color can hope to answer,” said Laurie Pressman, Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute.
While Color of the Year 2019 was a bright and lively shade of orange, next year the color institute want us to make 2020 "relaxing" and "restful". Sounds great to us.
