The hardest place to get to that you’ve ever visited — and was it worth it?
Taking the train in Japan from Tokyo to Sapporo. Me and my brother were DJing in northern Japan and it was snowing so much that our flights got cancelled. We had to take a few different trains there and then drive in a car through the snowstorm. It was worth it.
Most ridiculous travel purchase you’ve ever made?
I got a “travel bass” once. It’s small and the tuning pegs are on the body of the bass. Looks bizarre and sounds really bad honestly. Now I just always bring my actual bass that sounds great. I also purchased a ukulele bass in Iceland once.
