Oceana , one the city's most renowned fish restaurants, has introduced the Wine Cellar Experience as a secluded way to celebrate a family occasion or the closing of a high-powered business deal. Down two flights of stairs from the main entrance, the Wine Cellar is much more rustic than the two dining rooms above. The homey feel of red-brick walls and wrought-iron wine racks (which hold some of the restaurant's finer vintages) lend a sense of ease, and play off the refined level of service. Executive chef Rick Moonen designs an exclusive six-course menu, which highlights his signature ability to create multicultural dishes using seasonal luxury ingredients. And being that this is a wine cellar, each course is paired with a different selection from Oceana's 800-label wine list, with an emphasis on rare vintages from hard-to-find small producers. Meals can be arranged for six to 24 people. $400 per person, tax and gratuity included. 55 East 54th Street, New York, NY 10022; 212-759-5941.
