As you'd expect from the most unhotel-like hotel in Italy, The Lounge at the JK Place is more private club than restaurant. In addition to serving lunch on the terrace, tea by the fireplace, and cocktails in the pink-lit lounge, the staff will loan you a laptop and help arrange opera tickets. Of course, most people come for dinner in the quiet dining room for divine fare like black truffle omelette, bavette with fresh pesto, grilled scampi with a white-bean purée, and a knockout of an herb-crusted rack of lamb.
