With all due respect to our beloved cashmere socks, our new favorite flying companions are Henry Cuir's brick-red suede slippers. Made of velvety calfskin and lined in linen, they have a cushioned heel and a vaguely Moroccan look (notice the tiny brass tassels). They stow away in a chic little zippered suede case that lies perfectly flat in a carry-on. Then again, they're stylish enough to wear right off the plane. $440; www.henrycuir.it.
