T Spa at Grand Hotel Tremezzo, Lake Como, Italy

Best for: Organic treatments

Though it’s only been open for a month, the newly revamped T Spa—part of a three-year, multi-million dollar hotel renovation—has already proven to be as impressively luxe as the Grand Hotel Tremezzo itself. It boasts a marble-lined hammam built into an 18th-century villa, a 50-foot infinity pool overlooking Lake Como, and five different types of Jacuzzis situated throughout the spa (think: secluded private grottos and the lakefront). The spa’s new signature treatments are equally sumptuous, using organic ingredients sourced exclusively from the area into highly customized therapies. The spa’s Grand Garden Ritual ($280), for example, incorporates herbs like lemongrass, thyme, and lavender from the hotel’s garden into whole-body massage and aromatherapy treatments geared toward each individual’s needs. Treatments from $180; Via Regina 8, Tremezzina; 39-0/3444-2491;
