Ten of the most memorable moments from a golf trip to Surrey, England.
Sunningdale Golf Club (Old Course): 3rd Hole, Par 4
There’s nothing quite like a short par-four to pique the gambling golfer’s interest, and the 3rd at Sunningdale (Old), just 292 yards from the back tees, is a gem. It’s crucial to successfully carry the large bunker guarding the right-hand side of the fairway. While there’s plenty of bailout room to the left, those who stray to that side will find it exceptionally difficult to stop their approach on the green (which tilts from left to right), even with a wedge in hand.
