When crossing the pond, most American golfers tend to stick to the seaside links layouts of Scotland and Ireland. London, however, boasts a deep pool of fantastic golf courses. They may not have an ocean at their doorstep, but these classic designs offer firm and fast-running turf, just like the links, and an easy-on-the-eye hazard—heather—that can nevertheless leave one’s scorecard in tatters.
