Riding on the Belmond British Pullman has always been a coveted experience, but it just got a little more delicious. According to Tatler, the brand is continuing its Michelin-inspired dinner series to the long list of amenities for passengers.
This pop-up experience will star four Michelin-rated chefs: Skye Gyngell of Heckfield Place, Merlin Labron-Johnson, Raymond Blanc of Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, and Michel Roux Jr. Each chef will host one dinner aboard Britain’s most luxurious train, all together culminating in a single pop-up dinner series. Each bespoke dinner will be open to 150 guests.
The series kicks off on June 21 with Gengell’s take on local dishes. Blanc’s dinner will follow on July 20, focusing on French cuisine––specific to the areas the chef calls home. Roux, Chef Patron of two-Michelin-starred Le Gavroche will mark his second year on the series on September 20. To end this year’s dinner series, Labron-Jackson of Portland and The Conduit fame will offer a meal focused on zero waste on October 25.
For those unable to commit to an entire dinner, block off May 3 and 4; Belmond’s 2019 season will be hosting two afternoon teas with the universal sweetheart of baking, Mary Berry.
