The Cotton House Debuts Renovated Guest Rooms
Last year, Mustique’s Cotton House Hotel debuted a redesign of its Great Room and Veranda restaurant by acclaimed French architect Tristan Auer (The Chiltern Firehouse, The Mercer Hotel, and the Hotel de Crillon). The boutique hotel continues its makeover, introducing redesigned guest rooms and cottages by Auer. The sophisticated, colonial Caribbean aesthetic done up in neutral tones and palm-tree patterned accents draws inspiration from the island’s founding designer, Oliver Messel. Two new two-bedroom Deluxe Duplex Suites have been added to the gardens of the Cotton House. The master suite shares the ground floor with a living room, dressing room, bathroom (with a walk in shower), and a private deck and plunge pool. The second bedroom is situated on the first floor with a living room, dressing room, and bathroom, all surrounded by an extensive balcony on both sides. From $700; cottonhouse.net.
