How to Find an American Express Centurion Lounge Near You
American Express Platinum Card holders can access all nine (soon to be 10) Centurion airport lounges—the benefits ranging from decadent menus to luxurious spas.

It’s usually safe to assume you don’t have access to something rather than assuming that you do. But if you’re an American Express Platinum Card holder, in this case you might be wrong. That’s because if you have this card, you are guaranteed access to the premium Centurion Lounges located behind the iconic blue doors in nine (soon to be 10) airports across the globe. Despite the Centurion name, which usually goes hand-in-hand with an American Express Black Card, if you have an American Express Platinum Card, you too can take advantage. To enter at any of the below locations, present your valid Platinum Card, a boarding pass showing a confirmed reservation for same-day travel, and an ID. Up to two additional guests are welcome free of charge, and additional guests can be added on for $50 each. Below, our description of each Centurion Lounge, where to find it in the airport, and what makes it so unique.

Seattle Tacoma (SEA)
The main draw at this Centurion Lounge—which is often a perk of being on the West Coast—are the snacks. Curated, Seattle-sourced offerings include local coffee from Caffe Vita, salty peanut butter cookies from Wandering Goose, and Marge Granola, as well as wines hand-selected by wine authority Anthony Giglio. Half of the wine list is sourced from Washington, Oregon, and California.
Hours: 5am-10pm
Size: 3,100 square feet
Location: In Concourse B, opposite Gate B3; the Lounge is accessible from any security checkpoint.

San Francisco (SFO)
SFO is an airport with great local food options, so to compete, this Centurion Lounge offers full breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus designed by James Beard Award-winning chef Daniel Patterson, founder of Alta CA, plus a Napa Valley tasting area. Morning menu items include lemon verbena corn cakes and a chard and pine nut quiche. For lunch or dinner, try the zucchini and burrata salad and the braised tofu with seaweed. Before or after your flight, be sure to take advantage of the Lounge’s well-appointed shower suite.
Hours: 5am-11pm
Size: 8,171 square feet
Location: The Lounge can be accessed post-security from Terminal 3 or from International Terminal G. All terminals are not connected post-security at SFO. If you are flying out of another terminal, you may be able to use your boarding pass to enter through T3 security, subject to approval by the TSA agent. After visiting the Lounge, you will need to exit through security, take the AirTrain or walk to your terminal and re-enter through security.

Las Vegas (LAS)
In the Las Vegas Lounge, there is plenty of space for stretching out—and several workspaces with high-speed Wi-Fi for catching up on all that work you didn’t do while in town. The small but decadent menu—which includes dishes like fried chicken with Scotch bonnet sauce—is designed by Cédric Vongerichten, a Zagat 30 under 30 chef, who is now Chef de Cuisine at the Jean-Georges Perry St in New York City.
Hours: 5am-11pm
Size: 8,906 square feet
Location: In Concourse D, opposite Gate D1. The concourse is accessible from Terminal 1 or Terminal 3 via the transit system. Once you pass security, follow signs to D gates.

Dallas (DFW)
Texan square footage means this Lounge has room for a luxury spa. Take advantage of the treatments, manicures, and massages on offer from Exhale, a mini-version of the award-winning spa brand, whose flagship is located in the heart of Dallas. The locally-inspired food menu comes from chef Dean Fearing, a James Beard Award-winner who is considered to be one of the founders of Southwestern Cuisine.
Hours: 5:30am-10pm
Size: 8,984 square feet
Location: In Terminal D, opposite Gate D17, on the mezzanine. The Lounge can be reached from any other terminal via the Skylink train.

Houston (IAH)
The most unique thing about this Lounge is the art installation by local visual artist Patrick Renner, a colorful wall sculpture of a world map, inspired by Houston’s Trumpet Flower sculpture. The food here has a local influence as well, with a menu designed by Houston-born, James Beard Award-winning chef Justin Yu, of the renowned Houston restaurant Oxheart.
Hours: 5:30am-9pm
Size: 8,500 square feet
Location: This slightly hard-to-fine Lounge is in Terminal D and accessible via the elevator located in the Duty Free Shop near gate D6. You can only access it after having gone through security, but you can access Terminal D from other terminals without going through security via the SKYWAY (upper level) train. The Subway (lower, basement level) train connects all terminals outside of security.

Miami (MIA)
Get your first (or your last) Latin-based meal in town, directly from the Miami-native, James Beard Award-winning chef Michelle Bernstein, formerly Chef of Seagrape at the Thompson Miami Beach. Bernstein is also a bit of a local celebrity—she’s the host of the PBS weekly television series, Check, Please! South Florida, and she and her husband also own and operate MBC Michelle Bernstein Catering Company.
Hours: 5am-11pm
Size: 8,000 square feet
Location: In Concourse D, near Gate D12, on the 4th floor. The Lounge is accessible via the SkyTrain within the D Concourse. If you are coming from another terminal, you must re-enter through security with either a connecting or onward boarding pass.

Philadelphia (PHL)
In addition to floor-to-ceiling windows and a menu designed by Philadelphia’s Michael Solomonov of the Israeli restaurant Zahav, the locally-inspired cocktails at this Lounge a worthy indulgence. Try the Liberty Bell Ringer, featuring Botanist Gin and Bitter Truth Apricot Brandy, or the Pennsylvania Dutch with Bols Genever.
Hours: 5am-9pm
Size: 6,300-square-feet
Location: In Terminal A West, near Gate A14.

New York LaGuardia (LGA)
Welcome to New York City, where space is a bit more limited—there are no shower suites at this Lounge’s location. But there are quiet workspaces for catching up on business, and the menu, like Las Vegas’s Lounge, is designed by Perry St chef Cédric Vongerichten. It’s also influenced by the diverse, international food options found on Manhattan’s streets. Try the Green Chili Udon Noodles or the Italian Burrata on Crostini.
Hours: Sun-Fri: 5:30am-8pm; Sat: 5:30am-6:30pm
Size: 5,365 square feet
Location: Pre-security in Central Terminal B, on the 3rd floor between Concourses B and C. If your flight departs from another terminal, you can take the purple, red, or blue airport shuttle on the departures level.

Hong Kong (HKG)
The newest of the Centurion Lounges, this is also the first one located outside of the U.S. In addition to the usual amenities, this Lounge includes a large, private meeting room that seats 10, a smaller meeting room, and a private phone room, so you can plan on getting lots of work done. And when you’re ready for a break, try a handcrafted cocktail by mixologist Jim Meehan, of The Landmark Mandarin Oriental’s bar, PDT (aka. “Please Don’t Tell”).
Hours: 5:30am-12:30am
Size: 8,000-square-feet
Location: In Terminal 1. Take the escalator just before Gate 60.

Future Locations: New York (JFK)
A new Centurion Lounge is slated to open in early 2019 at New York’s JFK. At 15,000 square feet spread across two levels, it will be the largest Lounge to date, and will be located in Terminal 4, the busiest in the airport.
