Owner Telsha Anderson of t.a. New York shares the European cities that shaped her.
I've been to Paris a few times and every time I go back, I'm amazed at their interior design aesthetic and selection. Not only does Paris have some of the best furniture stores, they also have clothing boutiques featuring one-of-a-kind pieces that your wildest imagination couldn’t picture. My favorites are Luka Luna and Ligne Roset for furniture, and Tom Greyhound Paris for clothing boutiques. If anything, Paris and Milan are tied in terms of interior design and offerings.
I studied abroad for six weeks in Madrid and remember sneaking away by myself for the weekend to Barcelona and spending the entire time on the beach. It was not only the quietest place I've ever been, but the most beautiful. So beautiful, in fact, that my fiancé and I plan to go back for our honeymoon in October 2021. The loudest place I've been, outside of New York, was Madrid. There's so much life happening at once that it creates a loud uproar of laughter and excitement. Studying in Madrid was probably one of my most memorable travel experiences and definitely something I’d like for my future children to experience.
