The Sculpture House

A new English brand deals in click-to-buy furniture art.

Salvador Dalí did it, and so did Joseph Beuys—there’s a long history of artists dabbling in furniture design, though the results have never been easy to come by for those without a gallerist on speed dial. The Sculpture House, a new English brand aimed at mass-producing functional objects—like sunset lamps (from $555) and op-art armoires (from $7,140)—by artists such as Jacob Dahlgren and company founder Alexander Chinneck, changes all that. The pieces can be ordered online with nary a dealer’s commission.
