My husband, Prosper, and I split our time between New York, where our publishing company is headquartered, and Paris, where we keep an apartment on the Palais Royal. Whenever we return, I like to go back to my familiar addresses and also take time to discover new places. More than anywhere else, Paris has the continual ability to surprise. In all the major cities of the world you see the same big brands repeated, but in Paris, besides those old standards, there exist hundreds of places to unearth. I always say this is a place to get lost in, because the patchwork of spirits makes every journey down a zigzag alley an adventure.
