The first recorded Father's Day took place over a hundred years ago, in Spokane, Washington. Since then, it's grown into a widely celebrated holiday where we show our appreciation for the men in our lives by showering them with any number of gifts, fetes, and displays of affection. Today, modern dads deserve the very best on Father's Day, which means going above and beyond: eschew any old whiskey for something new and rare, plan a weekend around his favorite activities, or get away somewhere special and different.
