Sadie Jones (right) became a publishing sensation with the novels The Outcast (2008, Harper) and Small Wars (2009, Harper). Her third, The Uninvited Guests (Harper), comes out in May in the States. This year Aminatta Forna was shortlisted for the prestigious Orange Prize with The Memory of Love (Bloomsbury UK). Her eagerly awaited follow-up is set in Croatia.
