Le Macchiole ‘Paleo Bianco’ Toscana IGT, Tuscany, Italy 2014

Le Macchiole is famous for its award-winning Syrahs, Merlots, and Cabernet Francs (the primary grape of ‘Paleo Rosso’), thanks to the masterful winemaking of Cinzia Merli. But they’ve been producing this mouthwatering, silky, mineral-driven blend of Sauvignon Blanc (70 percent) and Chardonnay (30 percent) since 1991 in limited production of only 3,600 bottles in a typical vintage.
