If your bar cart supply is dwindling, there are plenty of excellent services that now deliver alcohol, including high-end spirits and wine from around the world, directly to your front door. Many of these websites and apps even partner with local stores, such that you're able to support your corner liquor store without leaving your house. Here's how you can order in alcohol using these nine services:

Drizly

Drizly’s access to specific, high-quality spirits, wine, and beer, and their easy-to-navigate interface set them apart as an alcohol delivery service. Beer drinkers can easily shop for lagers or IPAs on Drizly, while wine drinkers shop by region or varietal. As for liquor, their whiskey section is three-fold: Bourbon, Scotch, and Rye, and their mezcal selection is expansive. Drizly also has bitters, simple syrup, and artisanal mixers so you can whip up your own cocktail couch-side. You can shop online or through their app.

Postmates

As Postmates aptly puts it, “We deliver more than dinner.” Postmates will go to your favorite grocery or liquor store and deliver in under an hour. Visit their Alcohol Delivery tab for wine, beer, and liquor delivery in 23 cities, from Raleigh to Palm Springs to Minneapolis to Brooklyn. On their website, you can find Moët & Chandon, sakes and soju, and liqueurs like Triple Sec or Aperol.

Vinebox

For a curated wine experience delivered right to your front door, Vinebox offers a quarterly ($79/month) or annual ($72/month) subscription box. The box comes with nine hard-to-find wines; their Hidden Gems box focuses on European wines and each wine is delivered in “by the glass” vials. You can also order a one-time Vinebox for $87, which features five reds and four whites.

MiniBar

MiniBar Delivery partners with local stores in 17 states to deliver wine, beer, and liquor. And in the states they serve, MiniBar covers not only the major cities (i.e., Boston, Miami, Manhattan, etc.) but the smaller hubs next door, from Cambridge, MA to Colorado Springs, CO and Oakland, CA to every NYC borough and NYC-adjacent New Jersey neighborhood. They also specifically partner with brands like Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Crown Royal, and Veuve Clicquot.

Instacart

Instacart is a grocery delivery service that will also deliver alcohol—state laws permitting. In addition to delivering wine, beer, or alcohol from your favorite grocery store (again, depending on the state), they also partner with local wine shops which differ depending on your location. If you’re near Flatiron in New York City, for example, Instacart will deliver from Eataly Vino, Morton Williams Wine & Spirits, and Flatiron Wine & Spirits. Just visit Instacart’s website and enter your address to get started.

Total Wine & More

Total Wine & More is delivering in California, Connecticut, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, Minnesota, Texas, Virginia, and Washington. To see whether they’ll deliver to you, visit their Same-Day Delivery page, where you can type in your address to find the closest store. In addition to finding vino from your favorite wine regions around the world (think: Napa and Sonoma, Bordeaux, Rioja, Mendoza, and more), Total Wine & More carries spirits, which you can shop for based on their provided cocktail recipes.

Usual Wines

Usual Wines is taking vino delivery to the next level with their Text for Wine offering. Usual Wines delivers by-the-glass wine from small vineyards that specialize in sustainable farming practices. Their six-, 12-, 18-, and 24-packs are available for delivery; visit their website or simply text 415-941-0440 for more wine.
