Want to eliminate jet lag? There's an app for that. With an overarching wellness philosophy, Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas has come up with an ingenious solution for weary and worn travelers. The hotel recently partnered with Timeshifter, the pioneering anti-jet lag app, to devise a way for guests to tap into their exclusive sleep technology. Utilizing leading research into circadian neuroscience from Harvard Medical School Associate Professor Steven Lockley, Ph.D., guests of the hotel are provided special access codes to the Timeshifter app to create free, tailored jet lag plans. Upon landing, ideally, they'll be able to more quickly adapt to new time zones and have optimum energy levels for adventure and exploration.

By inputting personalized data such as sleep patterns, chronotype, and flight plan, Timeshifter incorporates a real-world "practicality" filter to promote immediate results. The app not only helps alleviate symptoms of jet lag but the underlying circadian disruption by re-synchronizing one's "internal clock" to the new time zone. Users can take it one step further and activate optional features such as pre-travel adjustment or use of melatonin. And for business travelers who frequently time hop via short trips, they can access the handy Quick Turnaround feature to offset short-term jet lag symptoms. Even more compelling is that the app is already helping astronauts, elite athletes, and top CEOs eliminate jet lag, but luckily is now available for people traveling for pleasure and business. Poised as being a part of the future of luxury travel, hopefully, soon we can all look forward to saying good riddance(!) to stress, fatigue, moodiness, and restlessness. sixsenses.com
