Seven Minute Workout

Probably the most basic of the exercise apps, Seven Minute Workout is a simple routine designed for those who don’t have a ton of experience. No music, no voice-over, just a list of exercises and a timer. With that, it’s an effective tool if done correctly. The app consists of 12 exercises, 30 seconds each, with 10 seconds of rest in between; each exercise is done with body weight. The trick to this app is that each exercise must be done at maximum intensity: if done properly, research shows that a seven minute workout is the equivalent of an hour of lifting. We’d recommend this for beginners who are pressed for time.
