The nature-inspired hues are available with matching iPhone covers.

RIMOWA is always updating its suitcases and providing unique offerings to travelers. They’ve partnered with designers to release eye-catching luggage and created the first experiential suitcase. Though many summer trips are being scaled down or put on hold, the 120-year-old brand is still inspired by wanderlust and proved that with their latest release: two limited-edition colors inspired by the Mojave Desert

Launching on August 20, desert rose, and cactus hues will be available in three sizes, Cabin, Check-In large, and Trunk Plus, the RIMOWA Essential. The dusty pink is meant to be reminiscent of the pastel sunsets while the moss green comes from the succulents that make up the desert landscape.

“The launch of Desert Rose & Cactus is the latest in RIMOWA’s ongoing rollout of new Essential collection colors inspired by hues sampled from locations around the globe,” RIMOWA Chief Marketing Officer Emelie De Vitis told Departures. “With this collection RIMOWA wanted to spotlight the places less traveled but still rich in stories to tell. So far, our new Essential color collections have traced the globe from a line in Saffron inspired by Tuscan yellow flower fields, to the latest Cactus sampled from the greens that dot the Mojave Desert in the southern United States.”

RIMOWA recently launched an expanded menu of sanitization cleaning services for its suitcases and its customary complimentary luggage maintenance services. With things like wheel greasing and screw tightening, clients can have their cases vacuumed, scrubbed, steamed, and more both inside and out.
