It is exactly the natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of each location that has inspired the company to launch an exclusive line of bespoke vintage Louis Vuitton keepalls, designed by artist Jonathan Riss of Jay Arh.

One&Only Heritage Collection by Jay Ahr consists of twenty Louis Vuitton keepall bags—two for each One&Only resort—that have been sourced from each destination and transformed by Riss with stunning embroideries that reflect the exceptional beauty and charm of each place.

One of the bags dedicated to the American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts property One&Only Cape Town, for example, pays tribute to the country’s most inspiring past leader—Nelson Mandela. Another one echoes the clear waters of the Maldives through swirling aquatic patterns. And Riss’s interpretation of the beauty of One&Only Palmilla comes in the shape of vibrant Calaveras associated with Mexico’s celebration of The Day of the Dead.

The custom re-design of these bags not only breathes new life into every piece but it also turns each one into an investment piece and a collector’s item with a new identity and distinct character.

“I love to discover different cultures and destinations and each One&Only resort is a true celebration of that,” Riss said in a press release. “Transforming these vintage bags adds to the storied life span with something different, new, and compellingly modern.”
