Full disclosure: I wanted to write this weeks ago. I wanted to tell people all about how using this product regularly totally transformed my dry skin from a tender winter hellscape to the soft, bright, velvety visage of my youth. However, my plans were put on pause, as it was out of stock—I guess a lot of other people have also discovered its magic.

But finally, my time has come. The Korres Greek Yoghurt Probiotic SuperDose Face Mask got restocked this week, and I can finally tell you exactly why you need it in your beauty routine.

To give you some background on my usual cold-weather skin situation: It’s dry. Very dry. And because it’s dry, it’s incredibly sensitive to literally everything. Cold wind, hot showers, certain active ingredients, detergents—you name it, my skin reacts to it. When I first heard about the Korres mask, I was at the point where I just wanted something that a) actually felt good and soothing on my skin, and b) hydrated and created a lasting moisture barrier that would help protect my skin from getting worse over time.

Luckily, it does both.

The mask’s consistency is that of a whipped, creamy gel, and it contains real Greek yogurt (or “yoghurt”), which means it’s packed with probiotics and proteins to calm, nourish, and restore skin. It also has hyaluronic acid, which is famously hydrating. According to the brand, nearly 100 percent of test users saw more hydrated, luminous skin after one use.

There are a bunch of different ways to use the mask depending on what sort of treatment you’re looking for. You can apply the mask after cleansing in the morning and rinse it off after 10-15 minutes to plump and smooth your skin for the day ahead. You can also put a thin layer of the mask on overnight (mixed with your favorite facial oil, if you’re feeling extra fancy) and wear it while you sleep. Personally, I love to have a bit of a spa moment and wear the mask while I’m in a hot bath—it feels cooling and luxurious on, and it protects my delicate facial skin from the hot steam.

Shoppers who left reviews of the product seem to have similar experiences to mine. “I live in a very dry state so I have to pay extra attention to my skin,” writes one customer. “My skin feels soft and moisturized… and I have been using this for several years now. I highly recommend this product without hesitation.”

“I noticed a difference in my skin after the first time I used this,” writes another shopper. “I am 73 so this has helped make my skin brighter and wrinkles are less noticeable.”If your skin is also in need of a hydrating, soothing boost, you’re definitely going to want to grab a tub of the Korres Greek Yoghurt Probiotic mask. Add it to your beauty routine and watch your skin transform before your eyes—if you’re anything like me, you’ll be calling it a holy grail product after just one use.
