Necessary Luxury: Sir Roger Moore

Everyone's second-favorite James Bond shares the six things he can't live without.

Georgio Armani Sneakers
Lord Puttnam turned me on to the shoes, saying he got them for about £30. I spent hours looking. Finally, I called the store and bought a pair—for £300! But they’re so comfortable—and quite trendy.

Pork Pie
Whenever we’re in London, our evening treat is a piece of pork pie with ketchup in front of the TV. It takes me back to my childhood, and to taste the wonderful jelly and pastry is pure joy.

Sugar-free Chocolate
Since being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2013, I’ve given up alcohol and sweets. I was grateful to discover diabetic dark chocolate; it’s a luxury I simply couldn’t go without. Strangely, I don’t miss the alcohol!

Classic British Comedies
Kristina and I unwind by watching Only Fools and Horses, and Keeping Up Appearances. They’re timeless. No matter how many times we’ve seen them, they still make us laugh.

Bond on Bond
I do so enjoy flipping through my book and admiring the wonderful photographs—of me. Moreover, I enjoy being reminded of the wonderful friends, crew, and costars who I worked with over seven films.

A Framed Photo of Kristina
My wife and I are very rarely apart, except for when she goes to the hairdresser. I keep a silver-framed photograph of her on my desk to remind me of what I’m missing.
