Spring has sprung and Easter is around the corner. If you are the type of person who loves to entertain then mark April 21st on your calendar and get ready to throw the loveliest Easter fête.

Food, of course, is crucial but the table setup is equally important as it will add to the holiday spirit.

“Make a beautiful centerpiece with fresh flowers, but take care not to make the flowers too tall. Keep arrangements low so conversation across the table is easy,” suggests Rebecca Proctor, creative director and chief brand officer for home décor and dinnerware producer MacKenzie-Childs. “Show-off arrangements can be reserved for the sideboard, mantle, or front hall.”

It is sometimes tempting to overcrowd the table with decorative details such as bunny figurines and eggs, but be careful because they may end up looking too kitschy and get in the way of passing the food.

“The dinner table should feel open and airy, like fresh sunshine,” added Proctor.

Color is your friend so don’t be afraid to use it. She suggests pairing soft araucana egg colors or technicolor brights with fresh flowers and linens for an elegant dining setup.

Now check out the most festive Easter-inspired dinnerware options to purchase ahead of the holiday.
