The Ritz Paris, an American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts property, is one of the most iconic luxury hotels in Paris, dating back to 1896. It's here where Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Coco Chanel, and Princess Diana have all stayed. And now you can have the chance to own precious pieces from the five-star property.

From June 21st through the 23rd, French leading auction house Artcurial will host a sale of over 1,000 treasures from the hotel. The theme of this sale will be gastronomy highlighting tableware, silverware, and glassware from several of The Ritz's famous meal services. Collectors and enthusiasts have the chance to own pieces from the Marthe collection, which was commissioned by César Ritz in 1898 for the opening of the hotel and features a design of arabesques in blues or greens.

The hotel's gold and silverware will also be up for auction, with about 400 lots including pieces with the "Hôtel Ritz" insignia and created by iconic brands like Christofle and Ercuis. Other pieces include glass and tableware with leafy tendrils designed by Jean Boggio for the Ritz Club service and the Psyché service. And two older services with floral decorations, one pink, the other green along with more than 450 lots of Limoges porcelain will go under the hammer.

Various other cutlery, dishes, trays, and tea and coffee sets will be available as well as rarer items like three Christofle serving trolleys. The catalog also features glass and crystal sets, including collections of cocktail glasses from the legendary Hemingway Bar. Finally, 200 lots of the hotel's linens—from table to bed and bath—will be up from grabs.

Prices range from €100 to €150 ($110-$165) for two ashtrays from the famous Ritz Club to €4,000 to €6,000 ($4,400-$6,600) for a Christofle serving trolley.

This auction comes after the 2018 record-breaking sale of 3,500 lots of furniture, tableware, and heaps of textiles from the property.

Stéphane Aubert, Auctioneer and Associate Director at Artcurial, said in a statement. "This auction will be the ultimate chance to take home a piece of the iconic universe of the legendary hotel that is the Ritz Paris!"
